Description

Visual observation made on 4/28/2022 using a 22" UC Obsession Dobsonian at the Texas Star Party.

This globular cluster is bright but not highly concentrated. Some perimeter stars are resolvable. As you look towards the center it concentrates gradually but the core is not very dense.
Note: About 220 LY in diameter.

Type: Far Halo
GlobularPosition w.r.t. core of galaxy: Directly above the MW
Any stars resolved: Yes
Undergoing Core Collapse: Possible.
